PRIVATE RESORT OWNERSHIP

Own part of a resort. Designed by Snøhetta. Built around wellbeing.

AWAYO builds private resorts in extraordinary alpine locations and divides them into a limited number of real ownership shares. Every owner automatically becomes a member of the AWAYO Owners Club — with access to Snøhetta-designed homes, a private clubhouse, and a curated community. When you are not there, the resort is managed for you and generates rental income.

OWNERSHIP & PRIVATE CLUB

Real ownership.
A private club.

You buy a fractional share of a resort — real property with full legal title, not a membership, not a booking right. That ownership automatically makes you a member of the AWAYO Owners Club. Your share earns rental income when unused and can be sold.

HOMES & CLUBHOUSE

Designed by Snøhetta.

Every home is designed by Snøhetta — intimate cabins to larger family houses, fully furnished and ready on arrival. At the heart of the resort sits the Owners Club Clubhouse: spa, café, fitness, and events — exclusively for owners and their guests.

EXPERIENCES & EXPERTS

Built around wellbeing.

Alpine movement, recovery, breathwork, and nutrition — guided by expert practitioners, outdoor guides, and coaches — not offered as hotel amenities. Not as a programme you opt into. As the reason the resort and the Owners Club exist.

FAQ

What exactly is AWAYO?

AWAYO builds private resorts in the Alps and divides them into a small number of real ownership shares. Every share carries full legal title and automatic membership in the AWAYO Owners Club — a private community with access to Snøhetta-designed homes, a dedicated clubhouse, and a curated programme built around wellbeing and longevity.

What is the AWAYO Owners Club?

The Owners Club is the private community that comes with every AWAYO share. It is not a separate product, a subscription, or a fee-based membership. Ownership of a share is the only way to become a member. It grants access to the clubhouse, curated owner retreats and events, concierge services, and a screened community of fellow owners. The Club cannot be joined without ownership.

What do I actually own?

A fractional share of real property — with full legal title. Not a membership, not a right to use. Your share can be inherited, held as an asset, and sold. Ownership of the share is also what makes you a member of the AWAYO Owners Club — the two are inseparable.

What happens when I'm not there?

AWAYO rents your home and applies the income against your management fee. Owning it costs significantly less than running a traditional second home.

Who manages it?

AWAYO handles everything — maintenance, cleaning, utilities, rentals. You arrive to a home that is always ready. Nothing is required from you between stays.

How is AWAYO different from a timeshare?

Completely different. A timeshare sells the right to use a room for a fixed week. AWAYO sells actual ownership of real property — with full legal title, resale rights, and rental income. That ownership also makes you a permanent member of the AWAYO Owners Club, which no timeshare has ever offered.

Who are the other co-owners?

Every application is reviewed personally by the AWAYO team. We carry out background checks and meet every prospective owner before any share is confirmed. This is not a formality — the community you join is as much a part of what you own as the property itself. We maintain the right to decline any application in order to protect the integrity of the Owners Club.

How much time can I spend there?

Each co-owner has up to 6.5 weeks per year at the resort — guaranteed, bookable in advance, and always in a home that is ready on arrival.

How does renting out benefit me?

Rental income from unoccupied homes flows back to owners and contributes to the running costs of the Owners Club — keeping the cost of membership low without compromising the quality of the facilities and programme. Renters are guests of the resort, not members of the Club.

When does it open?

The first resort — The Nest — is in development in the Austrian Alps. Members of the founding Owners Club are being selected now. Shares start at €100,000.
